PLAYER REGISTRATION:Six player maximum roster with 3 players on the field at a time. No double rostering within divisions will be allowed. There are no goal keepers in 3v3 soccer. Roster subs must be approved by a tournament official.
FIELD DIMENSIONS:Field length- 30 yards X Width-20 yards
GOAL BOX:The goals are 3 ½ FT x 6FT. Players are not allowed to touch the ball in the goal box arc. If attacking team touches the ball in the opponent’s goal box, or while standing inside or on the line of the box, even if the ball is not inside the box, then a goal kick is awarded to the opposing side. If a defending team touches the ball in their own goal box, or a ball is touched while the player is standing inside the goal box or a foot is touching the line of the goal box, even if the ball is not inside the box, a penalty kick is awarded to the opposing team. If a ball stops inside of or on the line of the goal box a goal kick is awarded to the defensive team if last touched by the offensive team, or a corner kick is awarded to the offensive team if last touched by the defensive team. If a ball stops inside of or on the line of the goal box or on the back of the goal and the referee is unable to determine which team had the last touch - a drop ball will occur from the center spot.
GOAL SCORING:A goal may be scored from a touch within a team’s offensive half of the field. An “own goal” may be scored from anywhere on the field. NO SLIDE TACKLING ALLOWED
UNIFORMS:All players must wear like colored jerseys/shirts during play and each team must have alternate color.
GAME DURATION:2 - 12 minute halves separated by a 2 minute half-time. NO TIME OUTS
SUBSTITUTIONS:Allowed on any stoppage of play, unless referee determines a substitution would allow an unfair advantage to a team. To many players on the field will result in a penalty kick
PENALTY KICKS:Direct kick taken from mid of the centerline. All players stand to the side. If no goal is scored, play is restarted by a goal kick for the opposing team.
GOAL KICKS:Taken from anywhere from the goal line of the field.
KICK INS:All indirect. Ball is kicked into play from the touch lines instead of a throw-in. All kicks are indirect, including kickoffs, except for penalty kicks. Kickoffs may go in any direction. The set back for all kick-ins, goal kicks and free kicks is 3 yards.
TIE GAME:In the event of a tie at the end of regulation play of a Championship game, a 5 minute “golden goal” period will follow. If either team scores during this 5 minute period, the game is over and they are the winner. If the scores is still tied after the 5 minute period then a shoot-out will take place. Penalty kicks will take place from the center spot with no goalkeeper. Each team will have one player shoot and that will constitute a “round”. As many “rounds” as needed will occur (with each team using a different player shooting for as long as possible) until one team makes and the other team misses. Ties will stand during pool play.
SCORING:Team will receive 3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, 0 points for a loss. Maximum goal differential for score recording is 8 goals. For example if a team wins 13-3, the score will be recorded 11-3.
CARDABLE OFFENSES: A Yellow Card will result in that player sitting out for 5 minutes. 2 Yellow Cards in the same game or 3 Yellow Cards during the tournament will result in a Red Card. Any Red Card will result in that player sitting out the remainder of that game plus 1 more game, if applicable.
